Do you think the hospital will let me fill up a baby pool in my hospital room to labor in? It's a really big room, there's space for it. Hm, I wonder. Maybe I should just do it anyways? What's the worst that could happen?
Does the hospital have jet tubs in the labor and delivery rooms? The hospital rooms in the provo hospital had them and if I hadn't been induced and had to of had internal monitoring I would have used it. Check out your situation. Although they probably wont let you use your own baby pool, they may have regular tubs that will work. Good luck. You're going to have to write up a good description of everything that happens. I'm really interested, especially since I'm thinking about going natural for my next birth.

ReplyDeleteCall and ask. They might have objections if you just bring it, but you might be able to set it up before. I know over here they're pretty open to do whatever you want if it's reasonable.
