Alex

On Saturday, we went on a loooooong bus ride to Alexandria on the Mediterranean coast. It looked pretty much like Cairo, with a beach rather than the river. The bus ride was freakishly long and boring, it wasn't very far but the roads are bad. For some reason there are speed bumps on the highway? I don't get it. Once we got there, we had a great time. It smelled like the sea.

  1. Can I just state, for the record, that I am ridiculously jealous?

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go mop.

    (sigh)

  2. I am jealous too. I have always wanted to go there. Those are great pictures. When I got down to the one of your feet, Aidan looked at me and said "they have their shoes on." he is very verbal these days. glad you had a good time. amir seems to have enjoyed himself.

  3. Cool pictures. Baby boy seems ridiculously chill. Where did you get such a good kid?

  4. I agree, I'm pretty jealous that you're raising the world's cutest baby, in Cairo. I've wanted to do that ever since I found out that one of my former bishops raised six kids in Egypt (I don't want six kids, though).

Not to mention, you and Tim are pretty cute yourselves. Love the mock engagement photos.
