I found Peter's professors and employers at BYU to be very sensitive to him being a father. I saw lots of babies/families on campus. I never took one to a lecture, though. I would think that it was normal to take them-I guess not?
ReplyDeleteI recently posted about breastfeeding in public, and my friend Janae and I were talking about the ridiculousness of the new nursing room in the Wilk. I know they are trying to help, but I'm wondering if anyone bothered to consult an actual nursing mother in the process? I'm not sure what the hang up is, and I can assure you that there are more than enough mothers that could use the space. Especially with the counsel to not delay children, there is much more that can be done, and should be expected regarding children and mothers on campus at BYU.
