Initiatory Post

Good evening. Welcome to our official married blog.

Explanation of our last names:
Due to Caitlin's rampant feminism, she refuses to take Tim's last name. This gets very confusing, especially at the temple (those poor old workers can't keep it straight!) We're thinking of just combining the two and creating a whole new name altogether (which will probably be confusing for the genealogists to follow). Herhauser is our latest choice though; it's a combination of both of our mom's maiden names. Progressive? We think so.

Enjoy!

  1. Tim, you've removed your personal blog! Which I followed closely! I hope this joint blog lives up to the same standards.

  3. Well now I shall stalk this one at the direction of Caitlin.

Hello Tim, I am a highschool friend from SC! I live in Boston and am a raging liberal. Just thought I'd introduce myself. I was a big fan of Caitlin's blog, it's great insight into the west coast politics, life and just a cool different point of view. BYU is an extremely different school from Northeastern!

How about Carring for last name? Very cool concept though. Rage On Caitlin, Rage on.

  4. Browning is a good solid last name. Stop being so weird.

  5. So Craig and I tried to think of some good combinations of our moms' maiden names and this is what we have...

    Girsberger + Laffoon =

    Girsfoon
    Lafberger
    Girsbergoon

We want to be progressive, but we might just stick with Janis. Good luck with that though. :)

  6. Interesting idea, especially since both your mothers maiden names were their fathers, so essentially you're not avoiding taking a mans name at all.
